Founder’s Note

I can’t believe summer is almost over. It seems to be shorter and shorter every year. I spent a lot of this summer working on the new version of 360Reach which we will preview for you soon – and you are going to like the new features – A LOT!

I also made some time this summer to connect with people who are doing things that relate to the personal branding work we are doing for companies. As many of you know, most of Reach’s clients are major corporations who understand that to get the BEST from their employees they need to help them build their personal brands in support of the corporate brand. I am starting to see that there are two types of companies out there. Those who say their employees are their greatest assets and those who believe it and demonstrate it with everything they do.

One fascinating woman I met during my summer networking is Catharine Fennel. She is doing incredible work to showcase companies that actually ‘walk their talk.’ And here’s an opportunity for you to share what your employer is doing. You can nominate your employer for a Walk the Talk award by filling out their survey (you must do this by 19 Sept). You can learn more here.

I am thrilled about the work that Catharine is doing. One of the benefits of having a strong brand is being in control of your career – and that means being able to choose your employer. Catharine and her team’s work is helping to make truly open and authentic companies more visible.
