Take Inventory
One of the best ways to clarify facets of your brand is to take inventory of your past successes. Here are three questions that will help you uncover and maximize what makes you exceptional.
- Think back to times when you were amazingly successful (perhaps at the completion of a project, or in a meeting, etc.). What was it that made you so successful? When you think of many different situations, was it the same thing that made you successful?
- Reflect on experiences that made you feel completely content and fulfilled. What were you doing? What caused you to feel content?
- Remember a time when you felt your contribution to a project was pivotal, essential, unique. What was your contribution? How was it different from others’ contributions?
In answering these questions, you will start to see some of your true brand – what makes you outstanding, distinct and successful.
