Don’t Touch the Baker’s Buns
Don't touch the bread until the starter comes. We often show up at a restaurant hungry and consume enough bread to make us full—then eat the three courses that follow. The next time you are dining out, say NO to dough! Or tell your server not to bring bread to your table.
Got Nutrition? Check it out.
Before you go through the check-out line at the grocery store, perform your own “nutrition check-out.” Put those items that are not healthful and that you just don't need back on the shelf … or better still, in your neighbor's basket. You won't miss them when you get home, and you'll soon start looking trimmer than everyone else in the store.
Don’t Take Your Mother to Dinner
Remember mom saying “don't waste food; there are people starving all over the world?” Well, if you feel guilty leaving food on your plate, FUGGEDABOUTIT! Better yet, bring it home. You can eat it for lunch the next day instead of dreaming about mom's meat loaf.
Protect Your Largest Organ
Your skin, thank you! Put sunscreen on every morning as a routine. And remember to buy and use moisturizers that contain sunscreen. Notice your body's improved tone with each daily rub down.
Ciao Chow For Now
For home office workers, boredom and stress can lead to mutliple trips to the ktichen. If you work from home, close off your kitchen during business hours. Make water and other items available in your office area so that you can avoid rummaging in the kitchen for food just to kill time or recover from a stressful moment. Then you will avoid those extra calories that you don’t need.

With some processed foods, the list of ingredients contains more words we don’t know and can’t pronounce than words we recognize. If this is the case, put it back on the shelf and reach for something a little less processed and a little more nutirient rich.
