Health Tips for Busy Executives - Communications

Talk. Listen. Improve Your Well-being.

Hey Bud!
Find a health buddy at the office.  And share your health goals with him/her and together schedule healthful activities into the work day.

Hey e-bud!
Find a web health buddy.  There are hundreds of chat rooms and web sites devoted to health and well-being.  Find one that appeals to you and establish regular communications with someone who can help you achieve your health goals.

Have a "walking" Meeting.
Get your colleague out of the office and discuss business while taking a walk instead of locking yourself in a stuffy conference room.  The fresh air will be good for your health and the change in environment will be good for your creative energy.

Get a Coach.
Regular communications with your professional performance coach will assist you in identifying and achieving your goals with less stress and greater focus.

Office Visit.
Don't call people who work in your office area - go see them.  It burns calories and face to face meetings are always more productive because you can deliver a complete, effective communication.  And your visibility around the office won't hurt you either!

Vent.
If you are experiencing lots of stress at work, communicate.  Talking about your challenges will reduce stress while giving you more clarity so that you will be able to identify a solution.
